Wheel Repair in South Windsor, CT

The cosmetic appearance of your alloy or aluminum wheels can be difficult to maintain. Wheels are constantly exposed to harmful road elements like tar, dirt, salt, and stones. Minor impacts like curb damage and potholes can have adverse effects on the appearance and performance of your wheels.

At Tires + Service LLC, our wheel and rim repair and conditioning services for customers in South Windsor, CT, Manchester, CT, Glastonbury, CT and Hartford ,CT, are guaranteed to return your factory automotive wheels and rims to like-new conditions.

Wheel Refinishing

Sometimes your wheels lose their luster. They get pitted, develop cracks, or just become weathered over time. By refinishing your wheels, we will not only save you money, we’ll make them look like new again.

Wheel Remanufacturing

The team at Tires + Service LLC will assess the damage to your wheel before we do anything. If the damage is severe but still repairable, we suggest wheel remanufacturing. Wheel remanufacturing involves stripping the finish off of wheels that have been badly bent or cracked. The old finish is removed, and, if necessary, the surface of the wheel is cut and welded. From there, the wheel will be cleaned, primed and powder coated, and then put into an oven to regain its original shape.

Wheel Straightening

Every day driving conditions can cause your wheels to bend. Before you replace your wheel entirely, bring it to us for straightening.

Wheel Personalization

You bought your wheels to give your vehicle a unique look. Why not do something completely different with wheel personalization? We offer a variety of personalization options including custom colors, color matching to your vehicle, and a variety of other personalized options.

Wheel Replacement

Sometimes the damage to your wheel is too great to repair, and the wheel has to be replaced. Tires + Service LLC can help. We will find a replacement OEM wheel for your vehicle to get you back on the road again, safely, and affordably.

Is Wheel Reconditioning Right for Me?

Ask yourself these questions when deciding if wheel repair and conditioning is right for your wheels:

  • Is there rust or dirt build-up on the bead seat of the wheel or rim?
  • Can you see rust on the inside or outside of the bolt hole of the wheel?
  • Is there rust or dirt on the visible surface of the wheel?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then you should consider our wheel repair and conditioning services. Sometimes you may not even be aware of the cracks and defects below the dirt and rust. Allow one of our wheel repair and conditioning professionals to blast the wheel for a closer examination of the damage incurred during travel to better understand the necessary wheel and rim repairs.
